Trevor is CONFIRMED

Saturday, April 18th, we watched Trevor become Confirmed in the Catholic faith along with 139 other children from our parish and surrounding parishes. The temperature was cool, which made it comfortable in our Church (no air-conditioning). Trevor received a red stole, was blessed and brushed with crisim oil by the Bishop.

Another one of the catholic sacraments, Trevor, who is in 2nd grade, will also have his First Communion on Sunday, May 3rd.

Trevor's sponsor for his Confirmation was Daryl McCormick. Daryl is a family member; he is Julie's Uncle. Daryl is in his Sophmore/Junior year at CMU, studying Finance. He is a great kid and is gracious enough to come over and wrestle with the kids now and again.

This is Trevor with Bishop Carlson.

This was a busy day. Mass in the morning and a baseball scrimmage for Tom's team at 1:00pm. We did not have a formal party for this sacrament; we will celebrate Trevor's achievements along with Taryn and cousin Brandon's baptism on May 10th.
We are very proud of Trevor, attending weekly religious education, and sometimes teaching us things he learns there.
